    Abbotsford Connect is a local online business directory for Abbotsford and Mission, British Columbia. Residents and newcomers search it by category and neighbourhood to find trusted local businesses. Owners get a fast, search-visible profile with their name, address, hours, services and website link.

    It's the Abbotsford edition of Chilliwack Connect — same team, same platform, same standards. Every listing is reviewed by a person. No scraped pages, no padding.

    A business has to be located in the Abbotsford–Mission catchment to be listed. Location decides eligibility, not service area.

    When does Abbotsford Connect launch?

    There's no public date yet — we're in build. Waitlist members hear the date first, and businesses on the waitlist are listed on day one.

    How much does a listing cost?

    A standard listing is free. Premium membership adds category placement, event promotion and homepage features. Waitlist founding members pick either a one-time lifetime listing — capped at a limited number of members — or the intro yearly rate locked for two years when paying annually.

    What is the lifetime listing?

    One payment for a premium listing that stays active with no renewal, offered to a limited number of founding members off the waitlist. Once those spots are taken the option closes. Prefer to pay yearly? The intro rate is held for two years instead.

    Who can be listed?

    Businesses, non-profits and service providers located in the Abbotsford–Mission catchment — including home-based and mobile operators across Historic Downtown, Clearbrook, Matsqui, Mt. Lehman, Sumas Prairie, Mission and Silverdale. Location decides eligibility, not service area.

    What if my business serves more than one city?

    You're listed once where you're located, then cross-linked to the other cities you serve through the Connect network. Abbotsford and Mission share this directory, so either city is home here. The master directory routes through FindYou.ca — so you're findable from every area you work in, without duplicate listings competing with each other.

    Will this help me show up in Google and AI search?

    Yes. Your profile is a crawlable page carrying structured data and a followed link to your site — the signals search engines and answer engines use to confirm a local business exists and describe it correctly. It supports your Google Business Profile rather than competing with it.

    Can I promote events and offers?

    Those are premium member benefits — event promotion, seasonal offers, and premium placement in your category or on the homepage. The free standard listing covers your profile, contact details, categories and website link.

    How do I claim my business before launch?

    Join the waitlist with your email. Once you're in, send your pre-build kit — photos, logo and brand colours, one or two video links, your Google Business Profile link and the details about your business. We build the profile, send it to you to approve, and publish it the day we go live.
